Increased Lighting & HVAC Incentives Available
SWEPCO offers a variety of incentives on energy efficiency improvements to help you take charge of your business' bottom line and make your daily operations more efficient. These measures include LED lighting as well as high efficiency heat pump and air conditioning units since they can dramatically increase the comfort in a building and help lower your monthly SWEPCO bill.
The team regularly evaluates our Energy Efficiency Programs to determine if the programs need to be adjusted to better benefit our customers. Through the end of this year, we're offering a fixed incentive rate on LED lay-in fixtures as well as increasing the existing incentive amounts on high efficiency HVAC systems for our non-residential customers.
Lighting Incentives
For a limited time – through the end of 2022, take advantage of a $50 incentive per fixture on installed 4x4 and 2x2 LED lay-in fixtures.
HVAC Incentives (up to 7.5 tons)
Receive up to $500 per ton and up to $3,750 per unit on high efficiency HVAC systems.
1 ton of cooling capacity = 12,000 BTUH
Eligibility Requirements
- Must be a metered SWEPCO Louisiana customer.
- All measures must be installed by a licensed contractor.
- SWEPCO performs random, on-site inspections of the installation.
- Incentives can be paid directly to the customer or to the contractor.
- Funds are limited by program budgets.
